And the verdict is . . .

Seth and I just got back from the ultrasound. All the evidence says that we're having a girl. Now I'm going to have to perform a "gestalt switch," as my friend Carol the counselor says, and start seriously planning to have a girl. The only problem is that we don't have any girl names picked out. Settling on a boy name was easy. We both loved the name. We haven't had that kind of collusion on girl names. Any suggestions?

Aww! Congratulations! If we do get pregnant again I want another little girl so badly I can taste it! We even have her name picked out, Lydia Kate...

For a little girls I always swoon over "girl" names like Caroline, Bonnie, Annie, as opposed to "non-gender" names like Madison, Jordan, or Dakota.

Either way, little girls are just as adorable as can be! I'm so excited for you!

You'll have to keep us updated on what names you're thinking of. For some reason the name game is always my favorite part of anyone's pregnancy!

Take care...
